I am a highly motivated and experienced Art Director with over 14 years of experience and a Graphic Designer with over 25 years of experience. I specialize in creating eye-catching and innovative graphic designs for corporate and brand identities, logos, magazine advertisements, brochures, and packaging designs. I also specialize in directing photoshoots, including hiring talent and creating design aesthetics. My major design experiences include creating multiple Vegas and High Point show floor rooms over 10 years, each involving multiple 3D displays and Point of Sale materials. I am experienced in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and many other programs from Adobe Creative Suites. I continually take classes in order to stay up to date on the latest changes with Adobe Creative Suites.
I also have experience managing graphic design projects, including the direction of freelancers, printers, external agencies, and in-house graphic designers. As a project manager, I produce effective deliverables within tight deadlines and budgets. I provided leadership in meetings to keep all parties updated on the tasks at hand. While at a previous company I researched and implemented a software solution, AtTask, for tracking and managing hundreds of such projects at once. This new management approach allowed more effortless ability to ensure projects could get approved in a timely fashion among Brand Managers, Legal and Product Development departments, and other departments and agencies. In my former career, I had the privilege of working for Simmons Bedding Company as an Art Director for over 14 years. I've also done projects for Park 'N Fly, Elite Comfort Solutions, Joy McLean Interiors, AJW Designs, Cartoon Network, Vail Design Center, and many others.
